2023 Biggers Seed Bridge| Minneapolis, MN
· Designed symbols/motifs for 38 freeway facing 6’x6’ panels +2 interior 6’x 6’ panels for artistic enhancement on Bridge 94 and Olsen hwy
2023 Minnesota Orchestra Projection Light Installation| Minneapolis, MN
· Presented three sculptural installation projects alongside Marc Bamuthi Joseph and Carlos Simon’s Brea(d)th at the Minnesota Orchestra Hall.
2023 JXTA 2007 Headquarters Art Integration| Minneapolis MN
· Designed artistic narrative enhancements for the property’s façade and cantilever fence.
2022 Locus Architecture Façade Mural| Minneapolis MN
· Marked the commercial business’s ownership transition with an original mural and updated landscaping.
2022 Sabathani Mural Installation| Minneapolis MN
· Honored one of Minnesota’s oldest African American-founded nonprofits with an outdoor mural.
2019 Great River Landing| Minneapolis, MN
· Designed an original piece of art—and helped to shape the community spaces—for a housing development in the North Loop. This development primarily caters to fathers who are committed to being good parents, effective workers, and empowered community members.
2018 Rondo Commemorative Plaza| St. Paul, MN
· Participated in the planning and design of a new pocket park memorializing a neighborhood destroyed by interstate construction. The park celebrates the community and creativity that remain a half-century later.
2011 Hancock Park Public Art & Environmental Design | St. Paul, MN
· Redesigned the exterior entry of the city park’s Teen Rec Center—elevating the landscaping, sidewalks, windows and doors, and green spaces.
2010 Who Are We? Who Are They? Sculpture | Minneapolis, MN
· Created a site-specific 8’ x 48’ wood sculpture, inspiring outdoor interaction and dialogue in a North Minneapolis pocket park.
2009 Central Corridor Light Rail Transit Public Art | St. Paul, MN
· Designed, fabricated, and integrated public art at a brand-new transit station.

PROFESSIONAL & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE
1995 – Present Juxtaposition Arts, Inc. | Artistic Director | Minneapolis, MN
· Oversaw the growth of a multidisciplinary arts and cultural center from 15 participants in 1995 to 158 youth and 2,000 community participants in 2011.
· Developed a social enterprise program that employed 80 youth as artists and designers in North Minneapolis and St. Paul’s Hamline/Midway neighborhood.
· Nurtured relationships with donors that increased the organization’s annual operating budget from $1,500 in 1995 to $550,000 in 2022.
· Spearheaded capital campaign and construction project resulting in a new visual art studio, gallery, and community gathering space in a neighborhood with limited cultural amenities.
2011 Bruner Loeb Forum | Creative Director, Planner, and Host | Minneapolis, MN
· Planned, produced, and hosted the two-day “Putting Creativity to Work: Stronger Communities Through Rooted Art and Design” event.
· Coordinated event with 120 local and national participants, including designers, artists, developers, funders, resident leaders, and policymakers.
· Discussed how the arts and culture help to revitalize neighborhoods—building social capital, growing economies, and connecting diverse people.
2011 Local Initiatives Support Corp | Planning Team Member | Phoenix, AZ
· Conducted site evaluations in the Washington Park-Escobedo community.
· Engaged residents, business owners, government leaders, and elected officials to create redevelopment scenarios.
· Grew tourism—and strengthened the health and education sectors—in an economically-depressed area of Phoenix.
2011 City of St. Paul Parks & Recreation | Public Artist | St. Paul, MN
· Built ownership of public art plans for local park and Teen Rec Center.
· Engaged youth, businesses, schools, and other community stakeholders.
2007 West Broadway Alive Master Plan | Planning Team Member | Minneapolis, MN
· Designed public art elements and redevelopment standards for West Broadway Avenue commercial corridor.
· Hired by the City of Minneapolis Community Planning & Economic Development (CPED)—a force for innovation, collaboration, and sustainability.
